SKETCHING IN SILENCE

A Tahilla Gathering with Joan Hanley

Step into a slower rhythm, where drawing becomes a way of seeing on September 12, 2026.

Join contemporary artist Joan Hanley for a small gathering at Tahilla Farm exploring the quiet practice of observation. Surrounded by gardens, woodland, and the changing light of early autumn, we will sketch, wander, reflect, and notice what often goes unseen.

This is not a day about drawing perfectly . It is about slowing down, following curiosity, and discovering how simple marks on paper can become a record of place, memory and attention.

A day of creativity, conversation, a seasonal country lunch, and time spent in the quiet company of others.

No experience needed, only curiosity and a willingness to look closely.
